What is tough for those breaking into the entertainment business is keeping their personal private. Sometimes certain people feel or are even encouraged to keep their sexuality on the downlow i.e. play it straight.

I giggled, admittedy, when I read about this young man coming out of the closet because I "knew" he was Out and it was a relief, really, to be able to be who he is rather than who others may have wanted him to be.

That kind of goes with more than just sexuality...that can be a deciding factor in how you dress, the music you listen to and the kinds of foods you like. I smile as I type this because whether I like it or not, the eye of judgement follows each of us very closely.

What to do? Choose HAPPINESS. Choose to be honest, to be kind and choose to want better for those around us.
